Continuing Education
CCST is committed to educational development and professional growth.  Enhance your professional development by obtaining up to 9 CEU’s. Due to recent legislation, each school director, full-time instructor and director of admissions must complete at least six hours of continuing education every year. The revised rules governing Texas Career Schools and Colleges were effective August 28, 2006. (TAC Title 40 Part 20 Chapter 807) The regulations require that the school maintain records of the continuing education received by the school personnel for five years and in a location so the records are immediately available for review. (Subchapter G. Staff Education Requirements)

In order to receive your continuing education units, each attendee must sign-in (clearly) at each session.  The sign-in sheet will be on a table at the back of the room or will be passed around by the moderator of the session.  Certificates for continuing education units will be sent via U.S. mail within 2 weeks of the completion of the Annual Conference to the address provided on the registration form.
