Career Colleges & Schools of Texas is the state association for private, post secondary institutions that prepare people for today's jobs and great careers. There are approximately 200 of these institutions in the state offering a wide range of occupational curriculum.

CCST is committed to educational development and professional growth. Due to recent legislation, each school director, full-time instructor and director of admissions must complete at least six hours of continuing education every year.
The revised rules governing Texas Career Schools and Colleges were effective August 28, 2006. (TAC Title 40 Part 20 Chapter 807) The regulations require that the school maintain records of the continuing education received by the school personnel for fi ve years and in a location so the records are immediately available for review. (Subchapter G. Staff Education Requirements)
