ATI ENTERPRISES DEDICATES HOME OFFICE CONFERENCE ROOM TO A GREAT MAN
It is with deep respect and heartfelt gratitude that The ATI Board today inaugurated the newly opened "Larry Gilbert Memorial Conference Room" with its quarterly meeting.
The room is decorated with memorabilia of his dedication to this sector of education for over last 20 years and The Marines.. It houses a clock that plays the Marine Corp ballad each hour as a testimony to his years of military service.
Being a decorated WWII veteran, survivor of Iwo Jima, Guadalcanal and Bougainville, one of his proudest achievements was chairing the Imagine America Foundation's Veterans Scholarship Program for which he selected each year’s winners and presented them to The Career College Association.
We, at ATI, are all very proud and fortunate to have worked alongside Larry and remember him for his kindness and his deep abiding love of our students and employees.
Courtney Bennett, Executive Assistant to Carli Strength, ATI President & COO, was responsible for creating the tribute and said her only regret is that Larry didn't live to fulfill his promise to dance at her wedding. She added, "He was a surrogate dad to all of us at ATI."
When you next visit ATI's Home Office please stop by to pay your respects... Were Larry still with us he'd end this as he always did, "God Bless and Semper Fi"!
